Donation to Burmese Families

JAAA Members donated to the Burmese families affected by the vehicular accident in November 2012.



Support of Asian Donor Program

The objective is to bring students and professional from various careers to share ideas, advice and words of encouragement.

Remembering Our Roots Drive

JAAA will hold a drive to collect gently used household goods and clothes to donate to Jacksonville's immigrants. Please set aside your unused items such as winter clothing's, pots and pans, telephones, televisions, and other items that may benefit immigrants. JAAA will pick up these items and either deliver them to churches and temples to be distributed, or deliver them directly to the recipients.

Employment Education Workshop

The objective is to educate the unemployed Asian American community on the process to seek employment in this though economy. JAAA will assemble a panel of HR professionals to discuss topics that are beneficial to job seekers. After the event, the goal is for each attendee to walk away with an understanding of the processes to successfully land a job during these hard times (click for more info …)
