About Volunteerism

A volunteer is someone who gives of their time freely and cheerfully, without hope or expectation of any reward either financially or in kind. A volunteer is not someone who gives their time and effort on the expectation of a return on their 'investment'; that something will be given back to them.

Volunteer - - not so you can build your resume, but so you can build yourself.

Volunteers are not paid - - not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.

You will find as you look back upon your life, that the moments that stand out are the moments when you have done things for others.

Teamwork allows common people to attain uncommon results.
