About Volunteerism

A volunteer is someone who gives of their time freely and cheerfully, without hope or expectation of any reward either financially or in kind. A volunteer is not someone who gives their time and effort on the expectation of a return on their 'investment'; that something will be given back to them.

Volunteer - - not so you can build your resume, but so you can build yourself.

Volunteers are not paid - - not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.
