ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL

The viewing of the Asian epic film HERO at San Marco Theater on May 13, 2007 was a great success. The turnout was good, box lunch was delicious, and the movie was enjoyable and engaging.

The four scholarship recipients attended the film festival. Mr. John Hirabayashi, President & CEO of Community First Credit Union, helped present certificates of scholarship award to each recipient. Sponsors including Community First Credit Union, Humana, and SunTrust Mortgage talked briefly to members and guests prior to viewing the film. Representatives of CSX were also acknowledged. To add an educational component to the event, JAAA Member Han Kao provided a short historical background on the Qin Dynasty.
