Faces of Asia Heritage Celebration

The Faces of Asia, featuring Thailand and the Philippines, was held at The River Club on Saturday, September 28, 2007. The Asian Bamboo Garden at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens was introduced to about 200 guests. John Thomas (JT) of 96.9 The Eagle WJGL FM radio was Master of Ceremony.

In addition to Filipino and Thai food, there were cultural performances that included a Thai Fawn dance and the Tinikling dance by members of the Filipino Student Association at UNF.
